One piece of advice is to try and remember where she moved the last time she went through the pattern. She repeats it, so if you keep in mind some general parts of the pattern (for example, when she leaves the church she goes clockwise for a long time) you have a better chance of catching her the second time around.

Remember, looking back is as important as looking forward! If her location is ambiguous for a few turns, it will suddenly become clear when she moves to an unambiguous spot, and you can then work backwards a bit to determine where she really was. That will help you the next time she comes around.

If don’t want to play as a memory game, you can take notes or use tokens to trace her trajectory. Otherwise it will be a memory game.
