Dice Tower Review:
Scrabble Up
This is a real time game in that it has a “timer” … which is the gimmick :) It is a small marble that rolls down the zig zag track – when it hits the bottom your turn is over:) While I DON’T like “timer” based games, I saw this game for $5 and got it just for the fun of it:) And you can play the whole game in about TEN MINUTES as well!
Interesting … he explains the rules clearly (they are simple) but then does not FOLLOW the rules himself! (smile). He was supposed to make a word that started with the letter N … so he used the word PEN. Umm… that starts with a P :)

Little Prince – Make Me A Planet
This game ties in quite well with the famous book (references at the bottom)! One of the videos said that they got the game first and then went and bought the book! We love the book, so I jumped at the chance to get a used copy of the game at I’m Board! Each player constructs a planet on a 4×4 grid so several of the videos compared it to Kingdomino (each player constructs a 5×5 land area)

How To Play (Watch It Played):
Zombie Kidz Evolution
Don’t worry – evolution is not in the game at all – it just means it is the sequel to Zombie Kidz
Personally, I don’t see what OTHER people see in Zombies… but they seem to be the big thing in games (I suppose they are a good alternative to fighting off aliens). If you are OK with fighting off Zombies, then here is a very interesting Cooperative game! (so all players are working together to beat of the Zombies). The unique thing about this game is that the rules gradually change as you play … there are secret envelopes that you open when you win that grant you more super powers etc.
Ages 5 and up. Best with 2 or 4 players. 5-15 minutes to play.
Explained by a kid:
Gnomes at Night
Plays on a vertical board. Player pieces have magnets. Players can only see one side of the two sided board so they need to communicate with each other! [available at I’m Board Middleton or Sun Prairie]
